PurpleHaze420
The situation i've found myself in is that i'm running into on-goings problems with both the following applications; Nero v9.2.7.7 Roxio Creator 2009 Does anybody have any recommendations of software which works well without problems on Windows 7 RC1 Build 7100. I'm only really concerned with burning ISO/BIN and data discs.
cmc482
Imageburn Its a great lightweight burning app that does pretty much everything. Plus its free...
Zarpraz
I like CDBurnerXP (not limited toXP) which is a freebie, nicer and more flexible than ImageBurn IMO.

techbeck
Moved away from Nero a month or so ago. Since then I started using BURRRN for creating Audio CDs and ImgBurn for everything else. Both are free, light weight and work great...fast...
Zickar
ImgBrn is very user friendly and I find it more Versatile than CDBurnerXP
anarkhy
I used Nero then it become bloated and switched to Ashampoo Burning Studio, now starting to use BurnAware which is being a good alternative to both. http://www.burnaware.com/
flak
ImageBurn with the latest update already has the burn progress displayed on the Windows 7 taskbar!

TEX4S
I used Nero then it become bloated and switched to Ashampoo Burning Studio, now starting to use BurnAware which is being a good alternative to both.http://www.burnaware.com/ Yeah - nero is now a bloated warthog, like so many once popular apps. I have nero 7 installed - but use about 3 or 4 different ones {magicISO, powerISO, TOAST in Hack1ntosh} depending on what the file type calls for I have OEM disks for Nero 8 and threw them away after 5 minutes into installation - when I saw how slow it got - and the fatter GUI and multiple spash intros. - I uninstalled immediately. If I run into any software that is slow to load/run on my desktop - then its too damned bloated
Ji@nBing
Ashampoo is working great for me. It's like Nero before it was bloated.
soldier1st
ashampoo burning studio, won't touch nero 9 as it would not allow the pc to boot properly after it got installed. cdburnerxp is free and good.

Access Denied
Thanks for teh Image Burn info. BTW, all you folks know you can just double click an ISO in 7 and burn it. I like the more options in Image Burn though.

pasty2k2
Yeah the built in ISO recording capability in 7 is great, but you will probably need something more to handle your IMG, CUE etc files. Still a nice touch, means you can definitely burn a DVD of the latest version of 7, within your current version - saves having to keep installing imaging software between builds if you dont necessarily need it other than to burn 7 images. Subject Delta
Not a fan of Nero 9, I still use 8 personally. The only real added functionality is in Nerovision
Pikey
Nero 7 here .. works very well! .. and Nero's only horribly 'bloated' if you install all the options .. I do a custom install and get rid of most of it!
starburst1980
ImageburnIts a great lightweight burning app that does pretty much everything. Plus its free... It is ImgBurn, not Imageburn. ImgBurn + CDBurnerXP. Nothing else is needed.
