MAGZine
Hey guys, A friend referred me here, so perhaps you guys can give me some insight as to what is going wrong. I recently have obtained my copy of the new RC. Using Window's ISO burner, I burnt the ISO to a DVD, moved any important files to my separate harddrive and rebooted to install. However, when I go to install, it gets past the Loading Windows/Files screen (w/ the grey bar). When it goes to the 'Starting Windows' screen with the bootscreen, I get a BSoD. At first it was Erroring with NDIS.sys... so I disabled my NIC ports. Now I'm receiving constant Page_Fault_in_nonpaged_area. I've also received an irql driver error. My current config is: Intel E6320 eVGA 680i Mobo 6Gigs of RAM, clocked at 800 mhz Diamond 4870 X-Fi Extreme Music 1 Maxtor 200GB HDD (PATA) 1 Seagate 1TB (7200.11) 1 BenQ DVD Drive 1 Samsung DVD Drive 1 Logitech G15 / 1 Logitech Mx 5128 1 Dell 24" Monitor 1 Samsung 20" Monitor I'd be most greatful for any help! -Magz

MAGZine
try removing the RAM. have just 4GB of RAM and test it. Just an update... potentionally for any others with the same experience. Because it seems that Page file has been caused a lot by video cards, not only did I free up 2 slots of RAM, I unplugged my other monitor -- and it was a success! Thanks for your suggestion, tdrock.
