terminx
Since Win 7 has finally broke NTREGOPT, anyone else know a good, reliable registry defragger that works with 7? Eh? NTREGOPT works fine here man. Worked for me with 7000, 7022, 7032, 7048, 7057, 7068, 7077 and now with 7100. Maybe you're running into a UAC related permissions issue?
Insanor
NTREGOPT works fine for me. o.
08993
x64 on 7100? Am running it as administrator and it just won't play, can't find the first node. EDIT/ http://www.registry-clean.net/free-registry-defrag.htm is working fine. Edited May 2, 2009 by 8993
mezron
How well does Registry-Clean-Expert seem to work? I ask only because I really like NTREGOPT also, but it hasn't been updated since 2005. It works fine for me, but I'm a little concerned it might be a dead project.

It works fine for me, but I'm a little concerned it might be a dead project. Seems to operate almost identically to NTREGOPT, shaved 18% of my reg on it's first run and on the second run it popped up a dialogue box after analysis stating that the reg didn't need to be optimised (which NTRGROPT doesn't do). Also, it installs an x64 version on x64 OS.
UncleSpellbinder
NTREGOPT works fine here on 7077 (64-bit). Worked for me with 7000, 7057, 7068 as well.

mezron
How could it *not* be a dead project, after not being updated for about four years? I wasn't really going to say that til about the 5th year... but hopefully it's just "mature" and needs nothing else at the moment. I really like ERUNT, I use that instead of system restore.
