no regedit

Recommended Posts

firstly windows 7, build 7100, 64bit

ok, i was changing the default install directory in the registry from c:/program files to d:/program files and the same for folder "Program Files (x86)"

now when i go to regedit or sol.exe in command prompt i get the error "The system cannot find the file C:\Windows\regedit.exe."

anyone else has the same issue or have a resolution for this.

is there another way to change the default install directory in windows 7 other than through the registry?

Doing that causes errors (which you can see). You'll have to see if a .reg file to fix those would work.

I don't think you can. Would be nice to have that option though.
