Help with Live

Recommended Posts

So I just got Xbox Live, but I accidentally used my "hotmail" account on my brothers account.

I deleted his account, but I still cannot seem to apply my hotmail account to MY actual account - as it says its already being used now.

How can I temporarily dissociate my hotmail account from Xbox Live completely, so that I can use it in MY acount.

I hope this isn't too confusing :p Let me know if it is

Thanks in advance

PS - I also used the hotmail account I am speaking about for setting up Live for my console...

I guess in simpler terms, I am wondering how to EITHER:

1. Transfer a Windows Live (...hotmail.com) account to a different gamer profile. Considering that I used that hotmail account to set up a 12 Month Gold subscription on the wrong gamer profile.

2. OR, how could I transfer my achievements from profile A to profile B on the console.

What if I switch the hotmail account associated with my brothers profile, then delete his profile. Could I then use my hotmail account (originally associated with my brothers profile) and the Live Gold activation number on my profile?

I'm pretty certain I'm following you, and if you've done what I think you've done, it can be amended.

So you were using your brother's Xbox Live account, and you signed into WLM with your Hotmail address?

ps. specify what you're talking about, it's very confusing to read "account" over and over.

I want to transfer an Xbox Live Gold subscription from one profile to another. I used the subscription on the wrong profile.
