BartAfterDark
I just installed build 7100 on a rather old laptop, I have been running almost all the latest builds and haven't had any problems so far. But now the computer just freezes randomly, I hear the hard drive clicking a bit before it freezes up and the bulb icon "thingy" on the laptop lights up... To me it sounds like the hard drive may be going down the drain. But I have scanned it with some software from IBM/Hitachi. So I'm kinda in a dilemma, also did a complete format, that didn't fix the problem... So I don't really know if it is Build 7100 or maybe the hardware :/ What do you guys think? Flaggie
I would suggest to wait for the public RC (assumming that you did not get it from technet or a msdn subscribtion) Got my beta from a different source then microsoft because they were overloaded and that gave me a lot of problems like virusscanner not working, msn messenger not working, then downloaded from ms and it worked fine. So I would suggest patience
