Virtual PC or XPM..?!

Recommended Posts

Should I use XPM or Virtual PC? I know that with Virtual PC, I'd have to track down my XP Pro DVD to install it; but with XPM it is already there...so which would be better?!

They are both the same thing, the difference between XPM and Virtual PC is that any programs you install in XPM are put into your Windows 7 start menu.

I know they are the same, but with Virtual PC you have to install the OS into it, while with XPM all that jazz is already done.

I'd go for XPM, unless your CPU doesn't support hadrware-assisted virtualization - VPC doesn't require it, but XPM does.
