thegame2388
My Lexmark X4580 doesn't seem to be working with Windows 7. The drivers are installed because the voiceover dude comes to say "There is a problem" or "Printing Started". That voice comes and says something then it says "Enable Bidirectional Communication". I've looked all over to find a solution to this Windows 7 and Lexmark conflict. Does anyone know the answer? Thanks,
Gary2MBz
Is this a driver from Windows 7 itself or did you download the Vista drivers. Try uninstalling all the drivers it installed and install the Vista driver from their website. Apply the following changes to the installer file or the setup.exe file typically. thegame2388
The drivers are the Vista drivers so I wouldn't need to run the compatibility under Vista anyway....so what's up?
TAZMINATOR
Did you try Lexmark website for updated driver for win7 so printer will work again. Otherwise you'd wait a bit longer so Lexmark will update their drivers for their printing products. The Evil Overlord 1 Share
