Pajter
I've been a dumbass last night. I wanted to prohibit access to the control panel, for normal users. So I started changing things in the group policy. Turns out, it affects my account too, and I'm an admin. Now, I can't get into the admin panel, or any of the other cool stuff. Would I need to go into the standard administrator account to fix this? If so, how do I get there in Windows 7? Also, if I get back into the group policy editor, will there be an easy way to restore the crap I did? Like reset to default or something... If anybody could help me out, I'd be very grateful. You can laugh at me later. Thanks! :) PS. a bonus question, how would I set the group policies so that it only affects the 'users' or 'guests' group? tonyunreal
Have you tried typing "gpedit.msc" in a run programs windows to start the group policy editor?
ToneKnee
Technically, you are not the admin since the admin account is disabled unless you go into Safe Mode which you will need to do to restore the function of your current account.
