The Dark Knight
Hi, I, like many others, could not wait for the public release of the RC, so I downloaded it from a torrent site. Now that it has released, I checked the MD5 hash, but it does not match with the copy I downloaded. However, the setup.exe file on the iso has a valid digital signature by Microsoft. Can I continue using the leaked copy, or should I get the official release?

If you have doubts you would be better off re-downloading from microsoft.
Jimmy0
You clearly have doubts, so why not just re-download from the official Microsoft site?
The Dark Knight
Yeah, I was wondering because Im on holiday just now, and it will be a long time before I am able to download it, would take me a year if I tried to download it now over GPRS!! Oh well, lesson learnt, never download leaked copies!

ilike2burnthing
The difference in the MD5 hash is caused by virus, please see https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=764712 Clean install to the real thing.
