xmeridian drivers any one else having trouble getting it to work

using 7100 RC

Remove them through device manager, reboot, then install them with Vista compatibility mode. Not Vista SP1, just Vista compatibility mode.

checked and still nothing i get sound put the control panel so i can configure the speekers will not pop up it just freezes the computer

yup iv done all the common trouble shooting i could think of before posting.

i click on the icon to configure the mouse still can move but the progame wont boot up even ctrl alt delete will not get out of the crash. i have to do a hard restart

There should be some in June or soon after. That's when C-Media are expected to release their W7 drivers. I have a Xonar D2 (same chipset) and the latest Asus Vista x64 drivers work perfect here for now.

Auzentech will probably repackage the C-Media drivers when they come out. But the C-Media drivers should work just fine too if you don't want to wait. You might just have to manually install the card drivers.
