gate1975mlm
One thing i really miss from Vista is you can't Un-group tastbar buttons in Windows 7!!!! Also I would like each taskbar button to have its own thumbnail just like Vista!
»X«
Do you mean this? Grouping is something I can't stand. Never used it since XP. I find it irritating. First thing I disable.
gate1975mlm
Do you mean this? No thats not what i mean. What I mean is for example lets say you have 2 IE windows open I want to have 2 IE buttons on the taskbar. Also I want each taskbar button to have its own thumbnail. Like the way it is in Vista. Also like if I have 2 different folders open. both folders taskbar button are stuck together. And I do not like that.
Descartes
If you don't like grouping in Windows 7, you might also want to re-enable the good, old Quick Launch; here's how you can do it: http://www.blogsdna.com/2003/how-to-enable...n-windows-7.htm No thats not what i mean. Oh well, I'm afraid you can't do that by standard methods. Maybe there's a tweak available? I don't know. @down: I do understand, I just started typing the post before gate1975mlm replied. But if he doesn't like grouping, then I guess that he doesn't like his buttons combined either...
hdood
You people don't seem to understand what he means. He means that tabs belonging to the same program stick together, and have a common popup for thumbnails. You can't manipulate them separately. I don't believe there's any way to change it. Well i think users should have an option to have it the old way.
UncleSpellbinder
Well i think users should have an option to have it the old way. Just curious. Why would anyone want the whole taskbar cluttered up by 8 or more long icons of IE when it can be kept clean and neat the way it is now. Hover over the nicely sized IE icon and see all eight windows as pop-up thumbnails. Again, not a slam at anyone. Just genuinely curious.
