Is it worth buying a gaming PC?

Recommended Posts

I finally got tired of the gaming scene. From my view point, it's just a constant feeding of the cash cow. buy a better machine to play the better games, then another one comes out, buy another Pc for better gaming...lather,rinse, repeat.

I have taken a stance to keep this laptop as long as possible. But since I'm not gaming, it should last me quite awhile then after that, it could be turned into a NICE linux box. ;)

In your situation, it would be a complete waste of money. You already have a good gaming setup with your PS3 and 120 Hz HDTV. Spending money on a gaming PC seems like a waste. As you said yourself, you prefer the Mac OS X operating system. If I were you I'd stick with my PS3 and save that extra money for a gaming PC two years down the road.

Changed my mind.

I am following your suggestion thanks for ur input! I just cannot put the money down for a gaming PC since I already have a decent setup for the PS3

I may just buy an aluminum macbook again if I find one for cheap (craigslist for eg)

Thanks anyway guys
