allanon09
Has anybody bought Plants vs. Zombies yet? If so, what did you think? You can get it for $20 from PopCap or $9.99 from Steam.

StealMySoda
A lot like desktop tower defence. Although more linear I played the demo for a bit but got a bit bored. Does it get anymore exciting further down the road?
Victor Rambo
Currently Playing. Its so addictive and similar to Garden Defense. Both are must-play games. :D

allanon09
So I bought the game yesterday after someone here said it was good and after all the reviews I read. When I finally took a break I wondered how someone created a game that was capable of creating a blackhole around my laptop and sucking so much time from my life! After pondering for a few moments I jumped right back into the blackhole and played some more. So for the gamers out there the beginning is extremely easy. As you progress through the game it becomes harder and harder. I also love notes from the Zombies. Have you guys clicked on the help in the main menu? That has to be the best help I have ever gotten! azz0r_wugg
I'd love to. I tend to by to many cheap games and then play them though. I'm reigning in my spending.
GreatStalin
I played the demo, and have to say I wasn't too impressed. It was just too easy without much variety... After buying the full-game and spending a few more hours though... what a game! I'll definitely recommend this game to anybody!
spy beef
Warcraft III TD Maps >> Plant vs. Zombies -The same map gets boring real fast. -Same enemies -Slow enemies -Not enough land to try out cool techniques -No multiplayer -Lame music -Crazy Dave is lame -Lame bowling minigame -Graphics seem to be a rip off of Pokemon and Mario. edit: I just completed the level where you get the shrooms. I'm going to to finish it but I don't see it getting any better. Edited May 9, 2009 by s3n4te
Qumahlin
Warcraft III TD Maps >> Plant vs. ZombiesGoing back to Zotar TD for Warcraft III. Um, did you really just compare Warcraft 3 + addons with Plants vs Zombies? Do you honestly think they are even in the same class to compare just because they are both defense based games? For what it is, Plants vs Zombies is amazing.

I'm going to to finish it but I don't see it getting any better. I just got it and ended up playing for the last 90mins. Popcap usually pulls through with awesome casual games. senate, after my first play it seemed obvious that A:the map changes every ten levels B: there's like 30 enemy types with fast and slow moving varietys C:the lame bowling game is just one of many too be unlocked If only they'd make Peggle II
