+chorpeac MVC Posted May 7, 2009 MVC Share Posted May 7, 2009 Ok so this sometimes happened on Vista 64bit as well, but the included picture shows the wireless network icon with the exclamation stating no internet connection. Yet, as you can see, I am browsing the web and typing this on Neowin as we speak. Anyone else notice this? Machine specs are in my sig, and I am using the 64bit version of the 7100 build. dangel
I heard someone on another forum say they'd had that problem earlier today - so you're not alone. Mine is telling me that i have no sound, as I listen to mp3s  If it's working, then don't worry about it - but do the right thing and report the bug to MS please :)
+chorpeac MVC Posted May 7, 2009 Author MVC Share Posted May 7, 2009 Do you know where the correct place is to report bugs? I use to use the "feedback" link on top of the windows... I found a reference to the feedback tool cmd prompt rundll32.exe FeedbackTool.dll,ShowWizard If there is a web form that would work, please provide the appropriate link. VT-Vincent
I have had the issue you're mentioning intermittently, but I'm also experiencing a more servere issue. I am loosing wireless connectivity intermittently and it seems to have difficulty connecting to unsecured, hidden networks. What's interesting is when the "Connect even when this network is not broadcasting" option is checked, the diagnostic information has "Connect when network is not broadcasting: No" listed in it's log...
