piedpiper09
Ok I feel stupid for asking ? and I?m sure I overlooked something. But how do I access my media over the internet from work to my home pc? I enabled streaming on one Win7 pc and tied it to a live account? I think I configured it properly. But there is no URL or anything for me to access the stream from work??? Trong
You need to have WMP12 running on the client side too. As of now, I'm fairly sure your work doesn't have WMP12 installed :p
Windows7even
we just need to be able to use this feature in windows media center also..i dont know why they didnt include it
Windows7even
i have even a better idea..in addition to adding support for this in media center...they should use the windows live connector to allow you to share other types of files over the internet using the live connector just like you are able to do with wmp..basically u link your id with the computer..set up the folder/file shares...open up my computer on any one of the connected computers and bam..all of your files that are shared on all of the other computers are accessible to you...kinda like internet homegroup sharing i guess...does anyone know if this could be done or if there is already a connector that would allow you to do this...ultimately this would put you on your own "cloud"
