PurpleHaze420
I've been trying to set up HomeGroup between two systems running Windows 7 Build 7100 for the last few hours without any success and I could really do with some help. Basically, no matter what I try I never get any option to "Join" a homegroup within Network and Sharing Center. The set-up I have here is a Desktop which is wired into the router and a laptop with is connecting wirelessly to the to the router. I have tried creating a HomeGroup on the Desktop (System A) and joining it from the Laptop (System B) and also in the opposite configuration of creating a HomeGroup on System B and joining in from System A both without any success. I can set up a HomeGroup without any problems although the other system never see's the HomeGroup i.e giving me the option to Join. The active network that they are both connected to is set-up as a "Home Network" and I have also checked that IPv6 is activated which it is. I have ploughed through forums looking for any information or solutions to this without success. Arggggggg. Any ideas people..?
