Bubbabyte
I have to computers running build 7077. I have them set up on a homegroup, also have them on the same workgroup. Both computers are showing up for each other under homegroups, it shows our library folders to each other but you can't open them. Double clicking any of our library folders on the opposite computer does NOTHING. When viewing in explorer, on the left hand side where it lists your homegroups, i can see the other computers library folders with an arrow to expand, but when you click the arrow or the name it does NOTHING. What am i missing. Why is sharing between 2 computers soooo difficult, so much sharing and security permissions you have to change and edit.. it used to be so easy in xp imo. This is very tiring, any ideas.
hotwasabipeas
Have you tried right-clicking on the folders you want to share and then selecting "share with homegroup" ...maybe that might help. I notice that some of my folders will not stream to my XBOX 360 unless I right-click and share them with homegroup.
Bubbabyte
if i do that, and share individual folders, such as subfolders in my pictures library etc.. the folders will show up under homegroup, but when clicked it will say i don't have permission. I just dont get this.
