Verge
When i run AD users and computers, or pretty much any of the RSAT tools, i get an error that says "more data is available" and the programs refuse to run. Sometimes however, they run perfectly fine, how can they work some days, and not others. This makes no sense. Are there any other windows 7 support forums, like from microsoft where i can ask them as well, i googled for hours and seems like nobody else has this problem. DaveJukes
Work fine here on SBS2008 domain. Make sure you've got the right version... I'll check which ones I'm using. Dave
Marshalus Veteran Posted May 8, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 8, 2009 Make sure you're running the Windows 7 beta specific version. They were located at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en but that page fails to load. It's possible Microsoft pulled this version and is going to replace them with an "RC" version. I'm running the beta version of the tools in the RC and they work fine. I have both the 32 and 64 bit version archived and can send them to you if you need them. Edit: Nevermind, here are the "RC" version of the tools -- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...c7c0a09f32f3#tm

Verge
Poo, i've already installed the vista package, which works intermittenly. Oddly enough though, the vista version i downloaded a few weeks back, is the exact same filename as the "windows 7 RC RSAT"... 'Windows6.1-KB958830-x86.msu' Is microsoft lying ?
