Speed up Aero Peek

Recommended Posts

Any way to speed up they how fast Aero Peek will execute once I mouse over? I almost want it down to 20ms. Is there a registry entry? I couldn't find it...

When I hover over the far right of the taskbar for aero peek, it's nearly instantaneous. How it could be faster,

I don't know. And surely another few ms shaved from the "wait time" couldn't make much of a difference at all.

Might want to post your specs as maybe your video card isn't powerful enough?

Try this: HKEY_CURRENT_USER --> Control Panel--> Mouse --> MouseHoverTime change 400 to 50 or less, restart.

My specs are fine. There is a delay. Looks like it is set to 400ms (by guessing) and I want it set to 0-20ms. It doesn't seem to be a hardware issue, it looks like it was designed to have a slight delay and I'm just wondering if there is a way to tweek the speed a little.

That just changes thumbnail display speed. :(

Click on it sooner!

Clicking on it doesn't activate the peak. It shows the desktop. Thanks for trying
