Best ending in a movie?

I, personally, loved the ending to Ghost Ship... it was the perfect way to end an otherwise subpar movie. Spookie.

There are a lot of movies I seen that have great endings, also depends what kind of ending. The ending for The Sixth Sense was a shocker. End of Days was pretty cool also. Can't forget Ocean's Eleven (Clooney)

Planet of the Apes was definitely one of the best, Usual Suspects also.

I had read Shawshank years before the movie and was realy happy that they diddn't screw it up

like they had several other other Stephen King works. (Y)

edit/ Just remembered "Clue" that was an annoying ending, several different ones depending on where you went to see it, some others have pulled that gimmick since..

The sixth sense was kinda ruined for me. I wish I had gone in not expecting anything but I saw it the 2nd week after everyone was like "What a crazy ending..."

I didn't know exactly what it was. But I was expecting SOMETHING, and while watching it I added it up. (Don't know if I would have figured it out if I went in completely clueless).

Hmm..lets see..this is a pretty subjective subject. hmm....

Usual Suspects - Yeah, good ending w/ good twist. Had to watch it a 2nd time to get it all in.

Reservoir Dogs has a cool ending. I'm not sure if I've seen a better blood bath ending. Maybe Scarface....umm..nah..it goes to RD.

I dug the ending to American Beauty. No real twist though. He said he was going to die and he did. But the imagery and ending musical score was excellent.

Ending of Truman Show - Just really cool.

Beauty and the Beast (disneys) - Because everyone lives happily ever after.
