atleeit
They are not real, exactly the same as Vista box shots, someone mocked these up.
Strike X
It is very fake. Why would they put picture of laptop in every box? Sound like they are just targeting Windows 7 for laptop only. Bad style of marketing.

piedpiper09
Paul Thurrott claims they're real...Fake or not, the boxes look very nice, and I hope the final product has a similar look. I also expect the shape of the box to remain. I read his article...don't think he claimed it as real...just posted the pics and commented on them. Unknown_97784568745
Real per Long Zheng. http://www.istartedsomething.com/20090513/...7-box-art-real/
Lord Ba'al
Its a box, who cares what it's going to look like? It's only going to sit on a shelf and collect dust. Unless it's some creepy fanboy who's planning to mount it on a wall, surround it by twinkling fairy lights and pray to it 3 times a day that is. Good point. Also, when you get an Oem version, you won't get a box like that either.
Denis W. Veteran Posted May 13, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 13, 2009 Its a box, who cares what it's going to look like? It's only going to sit on a shelf and collect dust. Unless it's some creepy fanboy who's planning to mount it on a wall, surround it by twinkling fairy lights and pray to it 3 times a day that is. It's all about the eye-catching box sitting in a retail chain's shelf. Otherwise, a simple compact disc slipped into a plain paper sleeve should suffice. ;)
