zyntex
Hey guys I installed the Virtual Windows XP PC from MS, but I can't get any files from my W7 into the VM and I'm only a "user" not a admin. I tried to install Virtual PC 2007 64-bit to build up my own XP VM but it is blocked from installing. Anyone can help me ?
lee31
Your processor is either not capable of virtualisation or it's not been enabled in the bios. There's utilities from AMD and Intel that tells you if your processor is capable of virtualisation or not. REM2000
If you have downloaded and installed VPC 2007 SP1 from the web site (not the XP Mode) then you shouldn't have a problem with or without having a processor with Virtualisation. I think the virtualisation is only for the XP add on. I have VPC 2007 running on RC1 of Windows 7 x64. Have you installed the virtual pc additions, these help with speeding up interacting with the virtual machine and also allow you to drag and drop from and to the virtual machine.
