ATLien_0
So far I am really liking Windows 7 and even all the enhancements to media player, but one thing does stand out to me. Where or how do you get to the sound equalizer it almost as if they took it out.
O.G
The EQ has been moved to the Now Playing window. View>Now Playing, then right click>Enhancements.
ATLien_0
ahh ok thanks, for the novice computer users that going to be a little hard to find. I think there should be a button for the eq in the main wmp window
O.G
I agree. The interface for WMP12 has generaly gotten worse as the beta has progressed. Both the main library window and Now Playing windows looked far better and were easier on your retinas than the current offerings, and you are likely to be blinded when switching from the dark themed Now Playing to the overly bright Library. If would be far better to make the Now Playing part the default and move the library functions over to it, or at the very least, tone down the library and make the Enhancements available from that as well as the Now Playing. ATLien_0
can stuff like this still be submitted to be fixed for RTM? cause honestly as me being a designer, that is a bad ui design to assume users are going to know that they have to turn on now playing and then right click to get to the eq
Ambroos
WMP12, for me, is a real disaster, I'd rather have WMP11 back.
ATLien_0
wmp 12 is great, and their are some nice new features, but ui design wise well they have forgotten the basics. I submitted a request on the technet forums
Dc'1
WMP10 was fine for me, the only improvements that I find useful in 11 & 12 is the UI. I do feel W7 is louder and a bit bassier though lol.
