SuperKid
My friend is looking for a device you use for the xbox 360 which allows you to record yourself playing games on the 360. He says it doesn't connect to the pc to record its like a device which just records. He believes its called something catch. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Thanks, matt. Brad.
Only thing I can relate to ''catch'' is a capture card.
SuperKid
Yes its capture card he is looking for, do you guys know the best one which is available to buy (in UK). ps. It has to support i believe he said, memory stick sort of thing? so it doesn't connect to your computer, it records to memory stick. Thanks, matt
GameOverRob
there is no such device, everything will connect to the pc. and they are only capable of non hd captures, unless you want to spend a lot of money. which means that he would have to play in sd. ramsy66
Check out my video on how to do it. :) Unfortunately it costs money, won't record in HD and has to connect to a computer. Good luck finding any other way to do it without spending alot.

mail
http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ HD capable
Waylander
http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ HD capable intensity cards dont have hdcp, i dont know if the 360 uses it during gaming but if it does that card will not work. i would like to know what capture card http://www.digitalfoundry.org/ uses, seems like they will be using of the shelf hardware and whichever card they use its hdcp compatible as they can capture from a ps3's hdmi (maybe they use a hdcp stripper though)
