Sethos
If for some reason you weren't expecting Microsoft to show off Forza Motorsport 3 for the Xbox 360 at this year's E3 expo, start expecting it. German racing wheel maker Fanatec says its new Porsche 911 Turbo S wheel controller, the one built with Forza 3 in mind, has entered pre-production and will be shown at E3 next month, hinting that it will be tied to the next Turn 10 Studios racer. What's more interesting is why the wheel appears to have been slower in getting to production. "It took a little bit longer than expected but Microsoft wanted us to support a new feature for Forza 3," writes Fanatec company rep Thomas Jackermeier. Wonder what that could be? While the game hasn't yet been officially announced, its existence was not-so-subtly hinted at recently. Source:Kotaku

AbandonedTrolley
Source:Kotaku Looks nicely built. Have to say though, i've never gotten on with steering wheels on a home console. Had the original GT wheel/pedels by Logitech in the big GT3 bundle.
+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted May 14, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted May 14, 2009 Looks nicely built. Have to say though, i've never gotten on with steering wheels on a home console. Had the original GT wheel/pedels by Logitech in the big GT3 bundle. I'd love to get a wheel again, I had one in my PS1 days for GT, but never had one since. I guess it's because they are a fair bit of expense on top, my dad bought the GT1 wheel back in the day, I was just a itty bitty teenager. In fact I might of been pre-teen. Are all these wheels nowadays tailored to specific consoles/games? I know Logitech do a GT one. Or are they cross platform compatible?

I still have mine, no idea why though :p Used it for Toca Race Driver as well I think, hmm.. I'd love a wheel again for the 360. I'll be keeping my eye on this. Sikh
I hope its a stick! I have the Logitech G25 and OMFG ITS AWESOME. Worth the money too. But the original MS one for the 360 I did not like. Its nicely built but no stick! If they make this one with a stick / clutch then ill be very very happy.

Sethos
Perhaps an "Eject Disc Tray" button for the multiple DVDs  da dum tisch. ( Before a moderator removes that like they always do with my comments, that was a joke. I like Forza, I approve of multiple DVDs so it was light hearted and meant as a "in-before-the-next-guy" joke - Thank you. )
ambushed
so long the original wheel is still supported (can't see why it wouldn't be) then ill be happy. It was pretty good. Can't imagine whatever the addition is to be enough to justify bying a whole new setup as it worked just fine for me through forza 2. Anyway bring on 3 can't wait. Chicane-UK Veteran Posted May 15, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 15, 2009 Can't wait for Forza 3. As a LONG time Gran Turismo fan (ever since the original version on the PS One) I never thought anything else could compare. But Forza 2 is excellent.. Forza 3 has me drooling with anticipation :)
