0nyX
As always when a build is leaked many people want to see some basic screenshots to check if everythig is the same. So here we go. Screens . .

jjrambo
This build is less buggy then 7100. I put my bet that RTM is going to be 7200.
Digitalfox
They've already said they are not going to fix that. Why? I really want to know the reason....
Lee G. Veteran Posted May 15, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 15, 2009 Why? I really want to know the reason.... Yeah, I want to know too  The icon is from the Windows 9x era. An updated icon would be an improvement, although showing the selected .exe's icon would be even better.
0nyX
Isn't there a way of changing it by replacing some dll or icon? I believe it can be done.
George P Global Moderator Posted May 15, 2009 Global Moderator Share Posted May 15, 2009 If I had to guess, i'd say it's do to some old compatibility reason that they don't change it.
Robbie Ride
This build is less buggy then 7100. I put my bet that RTM is going to be 7200. I highly doubt that RTM will be 7200, if Microsoft has just compiled build 7127, it's more likely going to be in the region of 7300 - 7500, at the rate of compiled builds that Microsoft are putting out internally that figure seems more likely,
Unimatrix Xero
i vote 7700 for RTM
Ci7
i vote for 7370.
George P Global Moderator Posted May 15, 2009 Global Moderator Share Posted May 15, 2009 MS can bump the final number to whatever, like they did with Vista. So it could be 7700 or 7500 if they want something more round.
nyolc8
Leaked Windows 7 RC language packs not working on this version :( (For the language packs type into google: "windows 7 rc language packs" and the first link) I found something... on the login screen, the wallpaper no longer streched on 1920x1080 resolution, and the language button on login screen is transparent(the middle of the button). Edit: OMG wrong topic :boo: Sorry
Jason Brian Merrill
RTM will obviously be 7777
pasty2k2
Its an artificial build number anyway haha. Its not a true representation of the amount of builds the NT kernel has had. Its the same with numbered software releases - why increase a software version without necessarily making any changes? Now wouldnt it be easier if they just had 1 version number for each build of the NT Kernel - yes it would end up meaning XP could have been build 1836 (total guess, I have no idea how many builds they did for XP), Then Vista may have taken so many builds from the first beta build 1837, all the way up to for example build 3173. Then 7 from 3174 etc. Only my opinion, but I think it would be much easier to follow one number, all the time, knowing how far youve actually come since the start. Instead of that, everyone seems to get hyped up about a number that, to be honest they will hardly ever see once its RTM. That watermark will be gone, you wont need to worry what number you are on as you are on the final product, etc.
Quillz
I see no changes with this build at all.
