Ambroos
RTM will obviously be 7777 Never, important builds always end on a 0.
Robbie Ride
RTM will obviously be 7777 Why would RTM obviously be 7777?, is that based on Windows Vista is build 6000 or that the number 7 is a lucky number so you think Microsoft is bound to use 7777 as a build number? Guest neo7
Leaked Windows 7 RC language packs not working on this version :( (For the language packs type into google: "windows 7 rc language packs" and the first link)I found something... on the login screen, the wallpaper no longer streched on 1920x1080 resolution, and the language button on login screen is transparent(the middle of the button). Edit: OMG wrong topic :boo: Sorry If the language packs won't work then XPM (Virtual Windows XP mode) will also probably be broken/not compatible with this build/

Lord Ba'al
This build is less buggy then 7100. I put my bet that RTM is going to be 7200. No big news there. As there is no second RC, Rtm will obviously be 7200. From Beta to RC was an increment of 100 (7000 to 7100), so from RC to Rtm will also be an increment of 100 - especially as there are much less changes than from 7000 to 7100, mostly just bugfixes. Hurmoth
just wondering if anyone noticed this yet, not just the VSP2 thing but the whole window vista doesnt have this does it? Are you asking if there is a Vista Service Pack 2? If so, the RC for Vista SP2 was released back in March: https://www.neowin.net/news/main/09/03/04/w...-general-public

Phantom Helix
no i meant the program compatibility service, ive tried to get it to come up in vista but all my executable files work correctly in vista. how does 7's program compat service change how it will run a file based on previous windows versions? and do you have any suggestions on how i might force the situation in 7 so i can play around with it?
