Dead Clown
When i close my macbook at night i usually put the plastic film that was initially between the keyboard and the screen for protection. I do this just because i like to secure my investments, but i do leave it on charge, am i doing it any harm having this film between the screen and the keyboard even while on charge? i know it is kinda a stupid question but i just wanted to make sure

Sikh
^ are there vents there? I mean I do the same with my lappy. I got a protective film(layer of foam) that goes between screen and keyboard. I am just like you, I am OCD about my electronics so with my lappy I keep the film there to protect it just that tiny bit more. It hasnt hurt my lappy, so Idk what to tell you. I leave it in there whenever its closed. So charging, using it on my monitor(as of right now, since my pc isnt working I have my lappy hooked up to my monitor) and the foam film is in there right now. Nothing ive noticed since no ones using the keyboard and the vents are at the bottom of lappy.
carmatic
suppose that the film doesnt pick up tiny pieces of grit which in turn get deposited onto the screen, i think it should be allright...
