kizuran
I'd like to know if anyone has tried to install/use any adobe creative suites or other unbundled adobe programs. Also, I'd like to hear feedback on compatibility issues, install failures, successes, glitches & the like on this issue. I'm particularly interested in 64-bit OS installs. Have seen the level of production suite discussions take a dip on the Win7 subforums. Just getting the ball rolling again. PS - Don't forget the software version numbers & any graphics, logs, &/or screenshots everybody!! Denis W. Veteran Posted May 17, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 17, 2009 Photoshop CS3 installs properly. There used to be a glitch where icons in the file picker dialogs disappeared, but I haven't seen that bug resurface in RC. Adobe Reader 9 occasionally fails to open PDFs in web browsers; it pops up a blank dialog with an OK button.
Gary2MBz
Adobe Reader 9 occasionally fails to open PDFs in web browsers; it pops up a blank dialog with an OK button. May I ask which browsers you have problems with? It works fine here on Firefox 3.0.10 and 3.5b4 on both 32 and 64bits. Thank you MSFT, I removed IE8 :D

Any other crazy/odd/annoying glitches w/ the main programs or their extensions?

Furikuu
I've been using Adobe CS3 programs for a couple of days now; Photoshop Extended, InDesign and Illustrator without any noticeable problems. I have Soundbooth installed but haven't needed to use it yet. Win 7 Build 7127.

mikeanak
PS CS 4 works fine but, if you install it on a pc joined to a domain, it brakes your link to My Documents folder in your profile. My Documents folder disapear when you are out of the domain with your laptop, and it restores this folder when you connect it back. Playing with ofline file settings does not solve the problem. pwnz0r3d
Only got Photoshop CS3 and Flash CS3, but both programs run great. Using them daily doing schoolwork. Haven't experienced any crash or similar so far.
Subject Delta
The Photoshop CS4 suite appears to install and function correctly. Can't vouch for the PDF reader as I use foxit for that
