Couvs
Hey everyone. I just had a real big problem tonight on my win7 partition having run out of hard drive space and I cant find the location of all my temporary internet files to clear them out and free up some space. course I"m sure most of the 50gb I set aside for this partition is full of my programs... but I would like to know where to find this temp folder so I can routinely clean it out. thanks
Pikey
To clean out temporary internet files it's probably best to go via the disk cleanup dialog .. typing c cleanup in the search box/start menu is a quick way to get to it! There's another place you can find tempory files .. you will need to 'Show Hidden Files and Folders' to see it .. C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Local\Temp .. you can delete most of whats in here .. Fred Derf Veteran Posted May 21, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 21, 2009 Assuming Win7 is like every other version of Windows, cd \%TEMP%
