Facebook
Why would you expect them to refund your money? also; http://www.forgottenportal.com/rappelzblog/?p=
Eric Veteran Posted May 20, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 20, 2009 Steam never offers refunds. It's in their Terms of Service. That's why I don't buy games from Steam that don't have demos. (Like Mirror's Edge)

acnpt
Why would you expect them to refund your money? I would kind of expect them to because they could simply remove from account, and that you don't actually have it on media, and maybe a good will gesture by customer support. I guess they are just following every other game shop, regarding refunds if it isn't compatable.
bangbang023 Veteran Posted May 20, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 20, 2009 Windows 7 isn't even final yet. It's your fault, not their's.

Minifig
I love reading people complaining about a beta OS. They should of known that not everything would work on it.. before signing up and using it... that's part of why it's a beta.

slinky333
Well, for Lineage 2 there's a patch that disables gameguard so you could try that. (google it)
MightyJordan
Windows 7 isn't even final yet. It's your fault, not their's. Exactly. Unimatrix Xero above was complaining when he couldn't get GTAIV to run on Windows 7. I told him because it was a beta OS, and he almost bit my hand off! :p
Udedenkz
Seriously, W7 is not suited to be a primary OS for anyone yet.... It is beta, buggy, and lots of software is incompatible. Just recently, I told someone on Steam forums who was complaining about bad performance in W7 to boot into his primary OS and hush. :)
