So, are you running 7100 or 7127?

Wouldn't this be better as a poll?

Anyway, running 7100 as I only want to use official releases from Microsoft and that I am too lazy to clean install with every leak.

I had one BSOD PFN_LIST_CORRUPT, other than that no issues.

Using and liking 7100(RC), will keep on using it as long as possible but am not `rushing` out to buy it the day it comes out, better me thinks to wait a bit for discounts to kick in, everyone loves a bogof or 20% off :p

7100.

I don't see enough significant differences between the two builds to warrant an upgrade.

7100 x64.. re-installing all my apps takes too long (VS 2008, SQL Server, MSDN, Dreamweaver, Fireworks etc. etc.)

I did have one issue that is AC-3 pass through to my amplifier wasn't working through HDMI but that is fixed in ATI Cat 9.5 it would seem.

7127 because lacking the folder.jpg thumbnails in the Libraries was driving me insane.

They were lacking?? Previous to 7100 I was all about Foobar. When the RC came out I gave WMP a try and let it update my entire 40GB library with information and album art. Sorry but it found **** that iTunes never even could.

The folder.jpgs are all there, in fact I used alot of them to embed my artwork after reformatting my iPod for a PC and using iTunes at work last week. Theyre hidden as Protected Operating System files and dont show up until you uncheck the Hide option in your Folder Options.

Oh yeah running 7127 here just because I cant keep from updating my system constantly.

My girlfriend hates that Im always messing with our laptop at home.. :D

I'm running 7127. Nothing to complain about yet other than wmpnetwk.exe still decides to randomly scan my media when it feels like it. It's way more apparent when I'm playing a game and it freezes while the HDD is accessed.

Same thing happened to me in 7100, I just disabled the service.

7100 here, sticking with official MS release. Ran 7000 before. Had my first BSOD ever with Windows 7 (7100) though, not sure why and only once.

So far, sticking with 7100 x64/Office 2010 x64, despite having but 1 GB of RAM. Why 64-bit with such a small amount of memory? Stability, stability, stability! I have not had a BSoD with 64-bit 7 RC. Not one. And that is despite pushing the system far harder than I pushed even Vista 64-bit with SP2 (same RAM configuration).

If anything, swapping 32-bit Office for 64-bit Office has actually improved stability, especially while multitasking.

Apparently, there are bennies to 64-bit operating systems and applications (even in low-memory setups) other than speed....

I really wish I could install Windows 7. I have a cheap video card in (GeForce 440 Mx). Since my other card took a crap awhile ago. I figured I'd just play around with it with the new computer I buy next month, that way I can get the full effects.

Does 7127 not receive updates? I'm a bit confused after reading through some comments here.

It does .. I've had 6 so far since last weekend.

btw , am I right in thinking 7127 is from the RTM branch? I'm sure I read that somewhere else ...

Well, clueless people which never have heard of md5 hash codes to check authenticity really shouldn't install leaks, indeed :pinch:

Checked both 7100 hashes the day RC came out. Any other way a trojan could hide in the torrent ISO?

Anyone else received Windows Updates on 7127? Uploader had commented that it wouldn't receive them.

Would non-gamers see any stability/performance improvements on 7127? Happy with 7100 on six machines now.

:D 7100 here on my machine works great alcohol120% is now up and workin as are a few other things mainly older games i still have an issue with unsupported drivers though like ULI sata raid and Silicon Image Sata raid yet they still have ultra old adaptec scsi card drivers and a host of non standard hardware that i've never seen on a home machine and i wish they'd just can it and and provide a more realistic driver base
