zhangm Supervisor Posted May 22, 2009 Supervisor Share Posted May 22, 2009 When I click the "More power options" text in the power/energy management pane in the notification area, the text shifts a few pixels to the right. Anyone else see this?
slinky333
Yep, happens here on 7100 32-bit.
ToneKnee
This happens in the network dialogue as well when you hit the 'Refresh' button. The text to the left hand side of it shifts a pixel.
scumdogmillionaire
Hmm... this doesn't happen for me. 7100 x64 (doubt architecture matters though, really...)
zhangm Supervisor Posted May 25, 2009 Author Supervisor Share Posted May 25, 2009 I doubt architecture really matters either, but it is interesting that some people experience it, while others don't. I posted about it here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums...0d-c42ce5936f31 The only answer doesn't really make sense to me. But, this laptop has an 8600GT, using whatever drivers were provided via Windows/Microsoft update. The display is running at 1680x1050, but changing the resolution doesn't make the issue go away. Ditto here. 7100x64 on a Dell XPS M1210 @ 1280x800. Also doesn't occur on my desktop, again 7100x64.
bbfc_uk
Happens here on my Dell Laptop using Windows 7 7100 x64, using the Intel GMA965 Chipset.
phunkymunky
Glad you like it. It's all the best walls around the web in one place. This lappy is the 945 Express Chipset, none of the try icons that support that style popup exhibit the behaviour on it. Ooh, after almost 7 years, I'm finally gonna crack 100 posts ;)
omganinja
Happens on my DV7 (9600M GT). Weird
zhangm Supervisor Posted May 25, 2009 Author Supervisor Share Posted May 25, 2009 So it doesn't look like it has anything to do with resolution, graphics card, or display DPI. Curious.
