Crazysah
Hey, I have a Sony HDR-HC7 and Adobe Premiere CS4. Now I am wondering how do I get all my video off the Mini-DV tapes onto the PC? Whenever I connect the USB cable to the computer and the other side to the camera and I open the play/edit place on the camera, it gives me 2 options, picbridge print of memory stick.. That is for pictures... How do I get the video off the camera onto the PC? Do I have to download some kind of software or something? Thanks Crazysah
Groffy77
You need a firewire cable connected from the camera to the computer. Also known by Sony as a i.LINK cable. The USB cable is only used for getting video or pictures off the memory stick.
Crazysah
I don't think I got it with the camera. Do you have a picture of what it looks like?
MasterC
I don't think I got it with the camera. Do you have a picture of what it looks like? Most likely you'll need a 4 - 6 pin Firewire cable. $2.15 at Monoprice.com. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product....=1&format=
Groffy77
I don't think I got it with the camera. Do you have a picture of what it looks like? It isn't supplied with the camera. You have to go out and buy your own.
