Vakerorokero
I have a pc on the living room that connects using wifi to the router, I got a second pc for my mom and can't buy another wifi card at the moment for it... So the question is, can I connect to the web using the pc already there? I already got a crossover cable, but don't understand how to make it work, and even if it works... anyone know how to do it? and if it can still be done? 0graham0
On the computer that has wireless connectivity open your network connections. On XP this will be Control Panel -> Network Connection. On vista it will be Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center, and then in the left hand column click Manage Network Adapters, or something along those lines (I can't remember the exact wording). Hook up both computers with the crossover cable. Once the Local Area Connection shows up as connected select both the Wifi connection and the LAN connection. Right click on one of them (while both are still selected) and click bridge connection. Good luck
