Rudy
8. The Minimize/Maximize/Exit buttons on the top-right of a window have changed icons, and are a bit smaller than the Vista/7 counterparts.Again, unlikely because any smaller and people will be struggling to see them the size if any that could be lost off them would be 1 pixel around them at most. That's the only one in your list that bothered me. Why would making the buttons a bit smaller make people struggle to see them? Remember back in the "old" days of Classic or even Luna? People were clicking on them buttons just fine lol

Remember back in the "old" days of Classic or even Luna? People were clicking on them buttons just fine lol White icons on a transparent background which are 1 pixel thick will have people struggling to see them specially older generation folk and those who don't have computer screen friendly eyes like most of us also as mentioned it wouldn't scale well on resolutions and screen size like for example a 22" 1920x1080 monitor which can appear very small when in comparison to something like 1028x1024 19" monitor. It would basically mean people would be constantly increasing their DPI which is completely useless if they don't need to do it before then i don't see why microsoft would change it for the worst. O.G
What does their age have to do with anything? I've seen 14 year olds smarter and with more credibility than half the people on Neowin.
SkyDX
Exactly, judging someone over their age is as stupid as judging someone by their postcount.... Anyways the RC might be feature complete but that doesn't means that Microsoft can't change anything anymore. Sure why should say they it's feature complete when it's not but if they really found something worth adding this late I don't see any reason why they shouldn't, it's their OS after all. For reference, from what I know XPs Luna was almost hidden till the end... Edited May 23, 2009 by SkyDX

We all know it would be secure (password/account protected etc). I'm not trying to be rude, but this could well be a future feature for an operating system so it makes no sense to ridicule it :) Edited May 23, 2009 by Calum
boogerjones
What does their age have to do with anything? It's a generalization; teenagers tend to be immature dumbasses. Saying you know mature and intelligent 14 year-olds is like saying that you know felons who are really nice.
O.G
Yes it is a generlization, just like all black folk are pimps and drug dealers, all gay guys are fairies and all lesbians are men hating dykes, none of which are accurate. Being an immature dumbass has no age requirement (and the only people I know who have commited crimes are nice). If you're going to try and find a reason to discredit someone, find a better reason than their age.

Lord Ba'al
SourceWow. Very nice changes, I really hope those are true. Especially this one was still sorely lacking: 1. You can now add anything to the Taskbar. It always seriously bothered me that you can't add a lot of stuff to the taskbar, like e.g. screen savers or your internet connection shortcut

08993
Not sure about 7140, but looks like Joe the Plumber has a new MS contract because builds are harder to get than ever, which leads to the question why? There could still be a surprise awaiting us, I doubt it but it would explain the leak plugging.

Ambroos
i could see them making something for Facebook but other platforms no. after all Facebook and Microsoft are in bed with each other now They won't do that anymore after all the antitrust violation crap they had with the EU. Maybe like the Sign-in-providers they could provide it as seperate addons that can be installed?
