rseiler
I'd like to use some versions other than Ultimate, and I'm wondering, first, is the rearm count 3 or 5 for build 7100 and later (I've seen conflicting information)? Secondly, when you upgrade from 7100 to, say, RTM (I know, I know, upgrade warnings aside), do you get a fresh 3 (or 5) rearms? ?I may not purchase right away, or at least not for all systems. There should be some data on this with people having upgraded from older Win7 builds to newer builds, or even Vista betas to RTM. Thanks
Subject Delta
I don't think it resets, in fact in some cases you may even have to re-activate.

Thanks well, when you "upgrade" from RC to RTM, the rearm count will be reset because you'll be forced to do a clean install. also, where are you picking up these other versions of Windows 7? Subject Delta
If you delete a file from the ISO (can't remember which one) it allows you to choose the version you want to install
rseiler
timster, no clean install technically necessary, though MS recommends it. Also, as Frank alluded to: http://blogs.zdnet.com/Bott/?p=922&page=
