code.kliu.org
I'm an XP user who's skipping past Vista, so I'm still relatively new to the new world of UAC. I don't want to disable it (I don't mind having to elevate), but as a long time CLI user, the lack of a good way to elevate a command prompt got to me. So long story short, I whipped up this shell extension. This is like the built-in command window here feature that comes as a part of Win7, except that it supports UAC elevation and you don't have to hold down the Shift key to get to it. Tiny, free, and open-source, supports both x86-32 and x86-64. Edited May 25, 2009 by kliu0x52
