JustGeorge
Just wondering before I shell out the cash for it. Anyone experience increased lag when playing online or buffering issues when streaming Netflix?
SMELTN
good question. I was thinking of getting one myself.
DR3AMxCATCHER
I've had one for over a year and I think it's the best thing I've ever had. No more wired cable running across my upstairs. I haven't noticed any lost in connection. I stream movies from TVersity all the time and not one bit of lag. If you can find one for the right price or you want to pay the $100 or whatever it might be, I would get it. Ayepecks
Works great. If you have a big house, though, don't plan on putting it downstairs when your wireless router is upstairs and on the opposite side of the house. Other than that, as long as you're in a reasonable range there should be no problems (Y) Works great.
-KJ
I didn't have any problems with lag when I used it at a hotel that provided wireless Internet... I played L4D and CoD4. The reason I mention the hotel thing is because my satellite Internet at home has very high latency -- no good for any serious gaming, and also because I would have assumed the waves would've been saturated by other people at the hotel (Staybridge Suites) thereby causing lag, connection drops, and whatnot. Now I'm no twitch-gamer by any means, and it may have been whatever networking algorithms the game devs employed in their games to reduce the lag visually, but I didn't notice any stuttering/lagging at all. Nothing affected the gameplay. I played as if I were playing splitscreen with my brother. The game went very smoothly for me. :) I bought the 360 WNA because it was $35 after cashback on eBay. :D The wired setup looked ugly as it trailed to my room, and the cheaper alternatives looked clunky, so I bit. I mean for $35, who wouldn't?
JustGeorge
My house is relatively small so range isn't an issue. Good to hear its reliable. I want to hook this baby up to the much bigger living room TV but don't want to run a cable :)
Smashing Pumpkin
Don't waste your money, visit the link in my sig. Works perfectly and only costs ?5 - ?10 for 2 second hand Home Hubs off of eBay.
Gotenks98
It worked poorly for me on both gaming and netflix. What I ended up doing is just going with a powerline router instead. I went from getting one or two bars on netflix to getting max bars every time. Now I just need to find some kind of ethernet adapter for the Wii thats not 3rd party.
