AstareGod
What are the keys for the command symbol? According to Wikipedia, "its Unicode code is U+2318". But... holding ALT and pressing the number keys for that combo, as well as its decimal representation, didn't work for me. But perhaps the unicode code will lead to better investigation. Edit: Good find mmck. However it would be annoying to change the font to Wingdings every time you wanted to use the symbol. Finding its representation in Unicode would be great. lt8480
Its also in MS Gothic when I past it into Word - but looking thru charmap I cant for the life of me find the shortcut key - that should be the best shortcut you could want. 2318 is a private use unicode character - its application and font specific. In other words on a Mac it will probably render when you use 2318 - but on a Windows machine you must set the font. Yep I know its a pain in the arse. giga Veteran Posted May 28, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 28, 2009 (edited) It's in several different fonts. Don't believe there's a shortcut key. Edit: Actually, here's a way to get unicode input as a shortcut. Sys Prefs -> Int'l -> Input Menu -> Check Unicode Hex Input and Show input menu in menu bar. Then go to your menubar and select Unicode Hex Input. Now you should be able to do option+2318. Edited May 28, 2009 by giga
