rakeshishere
Guys, the development of service pack seems to have started. And i feel RTM is close to hit in 1 or 2 months. I just checked more screenshots of this build and it seems they are working on service pack1. Check here for screenshots of windows 7 x64 and x86 sp1 and Windows server 2008 R2 SP1 64bit .... and build 7200 is rumoured to be the RTM build

That's the build list. And there are screenshots of every build. Which makes 7137 close to Retail if it's correct. No, this not the build list, they are the screen-shot list of just one and the same build, here's one of them:
y_notm
You fail at fail. ;) Windows service packs don't work that way. They are always compilations of all previous hotfixes as well as a few tweaks specific to that particular Service Pack. Some even include entirely new functionality (such as XP SP2 adding the Security Center). Windows 7 has seen only a handful of hotfixes so far, so it is far too soon for them to be rolled up into a service pack. Additionally, until the RTM build is frozen the fixes that are currently being delivered as hotfixes are things that will already be part of the RTM branch. While placeholder service packs may well exist for internal testing purposes they would be completely different from the real service packs. Not true. Any changes they deem to risky to make for the RTM build would be punted to SP1.
Dc'1
x64 and 1GB RAM? lol. Also, I wouldn't imagine it being 7138 if 7100 is RC1 lol. RTM probably wouldn't be until 7200+ :/

Lord Ba'al
It makes sense to start work on SP1 already and push any changes and new features that didn't make it into Rtm into the SP1 branch.

Imran Hussain
its real FAKE. He can't get Arabic in only the WEI score and clock and not in the rest of the interface. If he's using the Arabic Language Pack, the whole interface should be in Arabic and not English. Also the superbar wouldn't be like that. The start menu would be on the right and the system tray on the left. Here's more proof: http://www.microsoft.com/middleeast/arabic...abicsearch.aspx

Garry
Remember Microsoft said that they were going to keep the Server 2008 and Vista service packs in step, since they shared a codebase? Perhaps Windows 7 will also keep parity with Server 2008 - maybe even shipping as 'Service Pack 2.' Just a possibility?

Malisk
everyone is treating this like a joke but its from wzor... I don't see why it would be a joke? Microsoft is now fixing mainly bugs for RTM. So as for new functionality (Windows 7 is feature complete since a while back), Microsoft is now starting to explore new functionality that won't be part of RTM. Well. In which build branch to put that stuff in? Oh yes, an SP branch! I mean, this doesn't say MS isn't focusing on RTM. Of course they are. But it could also be true that they're sketching out SP1 in overlap to avoid any thumb rolling. After all, MS is starting plans on the next OS even before the former one is released. They've already talked and even announced positions for Windows 8 development. Maybe wzor is having a joke on us? :p That would be a first. These are coincidentally also the guys that try to debunk fake builds.
