jnelsoninjax
Hello, I am going to attempt to install Windows 7 and the only driver I can not seem to locate is for the AMD (ATI 790GX) chipset. I have checked with AMD and the driver download page does not even list drivers for Vista! Has anyone else had this problem, or have an idea where I should look? Thanks in advance! Long
How ATI distributes their chipset drivers is very weird. You have to visit the integrated graphics card drivers page to download the motherboard drivers, even if your motherboard doesn't come with those integrated ATI graphics cards. However I could only find motherboard chipset drivers for Windows Vista http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst...egrated-vista32
GusValentine
Here's what I was able to find out: http://www.amd.com/us-en/0,,3715_15532_15533,00.html So you need to look for drivers for ATI Radeon? HD 3300 Graphics Either try the "Integrated/Motherboard" Radeon HD 3200 drivers for Win7 Or "Mobility Radeon" HD 3000 Series for Win7
jnelsoninjax
Thanks! Apparently I did not need to find them.... Win 7 installed everything I needed (running it now!).
