Sailorcancer
So I thought it would be fun to download one of the language packs and then try it out. It was fun for a bit but I went back to English. But this one toolbar still stays. I got it to be hidden but I don't want it to start up. I have looked all over and I have no clue how to get rid of it. I don't know the official term. The thing pops up when I have to confirm a program under administration. I tried to take a screen shot but I guess you can't while confirming administration. I have uninstalled all of the optional language packs. Can anyone tell me how to close this out? Or at least not have it start up anymore? Thanks. Udedenkz
System Restore might help and don't forget to report that bug. Also, there might be options for that thing, never cared sorry.
code.kliu.org
The language bar is not related to the language packs / MUIs. The language bar is related to what input methods you have enabled. It just so happens that installing the MUI for language X also enables the input for language X (you can enable the input for language X without installing its MUI). What you need to do is remove all those input methods. The language bar is used to switch between input methods, and as such, it goes away when there is only one. (By input method, I mean things like "English US keyboard", "English Speech Recognition", "English Handwriting", "French keyboard", "Japanese IME", etc.)
