Is Neowin going to switch to Windows 7?

Recommended Posts

I will probably stay with WinXp for now, but I would be keen to go onto Win7 later on.

But for now Im happy with my XP :p

Currently i use it in my Laptop & home PC..So a real "Green" Go to Windows 7 :-)

@ office we still use XP, it will take another 1 yr for sure to upgrade the OS (probably directly jumping into Windows 7)

My new computer will be here in a few days, it comes with Vista, I'll stay on that for awhile, and I'll maybe do a dual boot. If not I'll wait to I can buy a x64 OEM Version since it's cheaper compared to retail and only need it for one computer.

Not that I've got anything against Windows but...

I've used Ubuntu (and occasionally Shift) Linux exclusively for the past two years. I'm on Jaunty now. No chance I'll go with 7, as good as it might be. :D

Got my new lappie today and the first thing I did was to flatten Vista and Buntu took it's place, I also doubt very much if Windows 7 will ever replace it!

I'll definitely switch to Windows 7 (64-bit) if its anywhere near the functionality and robustness of the RC 7100 the beta I'm currently using. It is Swwwwwwwwweeeeeettttt! :D

But I'll still keep my Windows XP (32-bit) and Vista Home Premium (64-bit) boxes. I'll build a Windows 7 specific computer. It's that refreshing. I'm stoked! :D

Just trying to start some conversation, are you all going to switch to Windows 7 when its released as a Final?

I will still keep using Windows Vista for a little while longer after Win7 is released, how about all of you? :)

i'd say most of the people in a windows 7 forum are looking forward to using windows 7.

I am planning on building a new computer this fall and installing Windows 7 Home Premium on it and installing it on my wife's laptop.

I'm already running the RC on both my desktop and my laptop with no problems, I plan on buying it very soon after it comes out hopefully college discount but if they are slow to offer it I ment just go and buy the full real deal.
