Lympho Posted June 1, 2009 Share Posted June 1, 2009 hey guys....so i decided to wipe my computer, so before doing so i decide to backup the files i need the most and cant afford to delete. i plug in my external hard drive to my Macbook but for some reason my laptop doesnt detect it....at all, including disk utility, its odd because it was working fine like 1 or 2 months ago...i havent used it in a while. i tried pluging it on my windows PC but it says the device is unknown and doesnt do anything else. is there anyway i could fix this ? atm it is as if the device doesnt exist...what do i do ? is there anything i can do ? if not i still need to wipe my computer and its kinda urgent is there any other way i could back up my files without an external hard drive ? like some kind of free storage website...( i need about 33GB of storage but it is possible to cut it to 14 GB ) thx alot guys i appreciate the help.
