pingjockey
This is a rather strange issue so I was hopping someone else has seen it. I am running Windows 7 x64 RC on a Q6600. The motherboard is a Abit IX38 Quadgt with 4 GB of ram. I have had installed virtual PC on this setup and had everything working just fine. I have even performed a p2v migration of my work laptop to vhd and had it running there just fine. Then all of a sudden I got a pop up while trying to launch virtual pc that my processor did not support hardware virtualization (which is does). Has anyone else seen anything like this before? Any ideas and or thoughts on this would be great. Thanks
pingjockey
Nevermind, I was able to figure it out. Seems that there is something screwy with dmi on this chipset (x38). If the boxes wakes up from sleep virtual pc will not start but if I do a cold boot it works just fine. Very odd.....
