Emn1ty
Meh, I'll still get it.I love the atmosphere, but I am EXTREMELY disappointed the trailer made it look to play exactly like Halo 3, which is definitely not what Bungie said it would play like... I guess that might be the case. I thought the game would be unique and not like Halo 3. However, it looks as if it's a shorter game where you play as an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (ODST). I might buy it since it's still Halo but I'm not impressed at all. Hopefully, Halo: Reach will live up to Halo 3. The biggest changes are fall damage, mobility and health (or a lack of shields). These three factors will dramatically change gameplay, especially the stealth also involved since you have night vision and it seems the Covenant don't or have a very poor version of it. I am personally really looking forward to it, but I will admit the game is a bit too similar to Halo 3.

I could see this as a DLC expansion, but I feel like they're milking it a bit by making it a full retail release. We'll see. Maybe there's more to it than we've seen thus far... You can't activate fall damage in Halo 3. You also cannot adjust those aspects in campaign, so either way we don't know how they will change the game in its entirety. magik
After seeing the play demo from the E3 video it is definitely going to be a different feeling game. Much slower paced and more strategic. However, the changes seem to be minimal and I still say it doesn't warrant a full retail disc (at least in terms of price). We'll see what it pans out to be though... goji
So its assumed Bungie is banking that with the longer time to transition and play this new chapter in the end it will feel like a full release :p
