thealexweb
Windows XP will continue to get support from Microsoft til 2014. Windows 7 may be good but I'm not sure if it is better than 7.
chrismaddern
Windows XP will continue to get support from Microsoft til 2014. Windows 7 may be good but I'm not sure if it is better than 7. Which one of those 7s was supposed to be an 'XP'? Although.. I can't believe we're sat here discussing this. XP is fine for checking email on old systems. To even conceive of putting XP on a new system once 7 has launched is counter-productive, the productivity improvements, speed, stability and future development opportunity with 7 far out-weighs any 'maturity' in XP - except in businesses with legacy hardware / software. But.. Windows XP mode should have them covered :)
