Ok.

You all have me planning to purchase a digital camera now. :shifty:

Keldyn: You have this one right?

Canon PowerShot S400 Digital Elph, 4.0 Megapixel, 3x Optical/3.6X Digital Zoom, Point-and-shoot, Digital Camera

I noticed that this one looks pretty much the same. Price and everything. $499.00

Canon PowerShot S45, 4.0 Megapixel, 3x Optical/3.6x Digital Zoom, Point-and-shoot, Digital Camera

Would you recommend one over the other?

Hello downside.

There is very little difference between the two camera's you are correct. The one I have is the Canon Powershot S400 Digital Elph but down here in Australia it is referred to as the IXUS 400.

All I can recommend is read some reviews and perhaps go into your favorite store and see if you can test both of them. Give them a try and decide which one you prefer.

I prefer the IXUS for its small size and beautiful design.

Ok, I'll do that this weekend.

I also had a couple more questions for you.

Have you purchased a photo quality printer for your pictures yet?

I won't be able to purchase one when I get the camera, but I will definately get one.

So, I can keeps photos in an album (the old fashioned way).

One more:

Did any of you purchase your cameras online?

Can you supply me with some good companies to check with?

Another one I shot. I liked the color of the sky...

:) Very beautiful. I like it.

I wouldn't mind seeing more at this size if that's okay with you. (Y)

Those other sunset ones are nice too. Can I get more (or those same ones) at a bigger size possibly? ;)

All these new ones so far are great! :D

i went to city last night and took hundred of pictures, all look crap, i don't what's wrong.. i use auto mode, those pictures were too dark. in manual mode, all pictures look great on the little lcd of the camera, but when i transferred 'em to my comp, all look crappy...
